Gary Alsup

The Kiwanis Club of Topsail Island welcomes Gary Alsup as its recent program speaker. Alsup is the director of the band at Dixon Middle School, and he presented an update on some of the band’s activities, notably that they have been selected to perform at Disney World. He has been at DMS for 11 years and has taught music for around 30. He also sings with the praise team at Providence Baptists Church at holly Ridge and performs with the 11th Regiment band from Fayetteville for Civil War reenactments.
